    Talking Femur Rod.........

This is the rod that was removed from the inside of my left femur on August 19th 2009. The end with the two screws is where it was anchored above the knee and the other end with one long screw was attached to the upper end of the femur bone. It was supposed to be a 45 minute operation but I was in surgery for 2 hours 15 minuted do to complications of its removal after being in my body for 17 years. Ouch......yes it did hurt more than I was told so. It has a serial # on it identifying as belonging to me and also made in the good old USA. It's 16 inches long and about 1/2 thick.

I'm thinking about having my buddy Stabber forge me a blade from it.

Don't put your finger where you wouldn't put your face!!!

If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.
