Might be time to review the forum rules again, focus on # 4. Check your facts, the story isn’t even true. zit

I believe there are quite a mix of minds here on the DF and I believe we all benefit here tremendously. I know I personally learned a little from all here although maybe I should have never stirred the pot. lol I didnt even think twice when I read it first. made so much sense to me like a "light bulb" I was off to share the story with family! After all so far I have to admit researching the guy a little further I found a quote of his I DARE to say is true found here ; https://blogs.scientificamerican.com...p-for-auction/ (https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/einsteins-famous-god-letter-is-up-for-auction/)
(Einstein did not mince words: “The word ‘God’ is for me nothing but the expression and product of human weaknesses; the Bible a collection of venerable but still rather primitive legends,” he wrote.)

On a side note, Dont trust Snopes for anything. They are a proven unreliable source

We can always agree to disagree I guess but I do need to read rules next time a light bulb goes off,lol sorry. In retrospect title should have read "Urban Legend Rings True" and signed as anonymous .
