With that out of the way...
You all know what this is. The experts here can correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe this Asp is one of only six made, which would make it the smallest number variant produced, in the Asp line. I am aware that the price I have set for this knife, exceeds the valuation that many here would place on it, and that is fine, but I will explain my reasoning:

1. I do not need to sell this knife. I would like to sell it, however, and it is absolutely up for grabs at the price mentioned above.

2. We have already covered the very limited supply, but consider the fact that, the majority of the other five, are probably in collections that include an example of each Asp variant; collections that are very unlikely to be broken up. If you are looking to collect each Asp variant, you should get your hands on this one now.

3. Dalton no longer produces OTF knives, and the Asp is, in my opinion(and probably many others here), the baddest, most wicked OTF knife Dalton produced.

As for the condition, the knife has never been carried or sharpened, and comes with original ballistic nylon sheath. Experienced Dalton collectors know that the liner lock on the Asp produces a scratch along the blade, which is clearly visible in the pictures. Having said that, this knife was never fired by myself, or the previous owner(George Harrison aka Gohmer) without holding up the liner lock to prevent further scratching. I do not know this for fact, but my guess would be that, myself and George were the only owners of this knife. The very minute amount of scratching on the blade could very well be from test fires made by the man himself.

Thanks to all for taking the time to look at this. PM any other questions pertaining to the sale of this knife and any other general comments are welcome to be posted to this thread.
