    Default Latest Office

Well I’m closing in on retirement and with all of the drilling shutting down thought my hand might be forced. And then we signed a 3 year contract with BP and they signed me up as lead engineer. Exploratory wells right now and then an 8 well developmental segment. New office is a Diamond drill ship. Schedule is 28/28 which gives me plenty of time for the important things in life. Cheers!09B9E1AF-91F3-4023-A92B-AD43545F9170.jpg

Ed looks like a great office. Good Luck and be safe out there.

If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.

Thanks, Dale. We’ve talked about retirement and I’m pretty sure a guy can get good and bored in a hurry. Work 4 weeks and have 4 weeks off is right up my alley. The pay is embarrassing so I’ll roll a little longer.

It is cool. Starbucks coffee grinder in the break room and you can’t argue with 4 meals a day. Fishing rods are supplied and the galley crew will clean and filet anything worth keeping. Tough duty!

Thanks, Snapper! This will be a real nice way to ease into getting retired. The whole operation is extremely safe, the only part I don’t care for is the helicopter, 75 minutes to and from. However, we fly in the Sikorsky S96 which is the same helicopter the President flys in. Good enough for him I guess it’s good enough for me.
