Another consideration is that, as far as I know, Automatic knives are illegal to own, carry, import, or export from AU/NZ. I'd issue a very strong caveat emptor on this one, fellow CONUS collectors.

They are, but where there's a will there's a way, I have been collecting for many years from local sources and overseas, and can ship and have shipped overseas, as far as I know several states in the good ole USA also ban them but bet you there are collectors in those states also,
