    Default Geese & Ducks

There were several geese in the pond when we left early yesterday. I figured they were going to rest a little bit, eat a few fish, eat a little deer corn, and be on their way. When we got back home they were still on the pond so I took a couple of pictures. The 4 regular resident ducks, 1 Mallard and 3 Muscovy ducks were not very happy with the invaders. Nature can be beautiful when we take the time to slow down and notice. Ed B

Best fish in the world to eat IMO. Love those pictures too! Wished I was there wetting a line.

I caught a baby catfish when I was about 10 years old. About an inch long, brought him or her home, not sure as to the sex, put him/her in a 15 gallon tank. Next thing I know the catfish is 10 inches long and eating goldfish by the dozens. Well, now he/she is back in the Esopus Creek and about 2lbs given what a yellow bullhead should be...Al

    Default Dinner

Should go out overnight Monday. Don't laugh at the leather gloves. A catfish that size can really do some damage. Cheers! Ed B
