    Default Forging "new Steel" with Aldo

    I was with Aldo yesterday. We forged out his "new steel" I named it Brun80, We'll see what Aldo's gonna call it? We forged the first two test pieces. Aldo annealed his before I left. He's gonna Grind and heat treat today!!

    So when are we going to see some Stabber knives. Looks like you might actually be capable of producing some nice stuff...Al

    Do you keep forging the same piece of steel over and over again? I'd like to see some WIP threads from beginning to end. I'm sure each step takes a lot of practice. Hammering steel is probably like slam dancing by the time your done your exhausted but relieved of a lot of tension. ILK

    The Typical formula is:
    C..........75/85
    Sil.........15/30
    Mang.....30/50
    Cr.........40/70
    Van.......15/25
