That appears to be one of the maroon scale releases - still one of the less common colors for that model.
Sorry to hear that.

I take it that a backhoe is next?
I need to start carrying more ammo. I only carry 2 extra speedloaders for my 629 in the car. Guess I need to pick up a couple more speedloaders.
We get some big cats around here too, but the flavor is kind of strong when they get this big.
Excellent !
Bob - just a case of mistaken identity. Dennis R. was one of the members of the old Dalton forum went by the Nifeman handle. He was one of the leading historical experts on the Ron Miller and Ochs...
Hi Dennis - good to see you back on the forums !
I never had a Python - they are great revolvers. I'll have to make do with my Diamondbacks (kind of a D frame mini version of a Python).
Back when I first got out of school I thought it was...
Ed - I don't really plan on picking up any more scatterguns, as I don't shoot them enough to justify another. The 11-87 does most everything I need to do. Of course, never can tell what might follow...
I'm much more into rifles than shotguns, but have a few of them. Don't shoot them much since I don't duck hunt and invites to dove hunts are few and far between.

I've seen this discussed ever since I got into autos - with about half the people going each way.
It can't hurt to leave them open (unless you cut yourself). I store most of mine in bracelet boxes...
Rent a refrigerator dolly with the strap. That provides better handholds and the wheels allow you to go up one tread at a time. Unless you can get at least 3 more guys, you may be better off...

Welcome to the forum Jon!
A hint on finding older Daltons in your area - check the truckstops. One of the guys on the old forum was a Border Patrol officer in Arizona and he found a number of...
You should ask permission before you use someone else's photographs.
I certainly hope the parachute on your Michrotech knockoffs doesn't resemble the Dalton logo. A lot of us would be very unhappy. violent2violent2violent2violent2
I'll take it. PM me with a mailing address.
Another trick is to wrap the pill in a slice of cheese. That has worked on our Labs.
The silica gel pack is a good idea.
Google found a number of sources. Here is one:

Karson - this is the "A Little Off Topic" subforum. This is the right place.
Stabber - those are some beautiful Siska's !
I've never heard of oil damaging a blade. I've had years of oiling guns leave a hard varnish like residue (WD 40 is particularly bad about this). The varnish is easily removed with a good solvent and...
