The 1st variant of the “Edge" was a run of 58 pieces, and was announced the Third week of August, ’07. Available with either satin or bead blast blades and with bead blast clips. The blades were all engraved “Dalton". All had dark grey anodized aluminum handles with (EMS) cord cutter notches machined in the scales. There were both plain edge and serrated blades available.

The 2nd variant of the Edge was a run of 2 pieces. The handles were produced out of an aluminum bronze alloy. There were only two knives, made to date, by Mr. D out of this material. The handles also had cord cutter notches, and engraved with the “Marine Corps" emblem. They both had satin blades and clips (1 serrated and 1 plain edge). Blades are engraved with “Dalton".

The 3rd variant, known as the “War Bird" Edge, and was limited to 6 pieces. It was released the fourth week of August. Two were made with plain edge satin blades, and satin clips (one also had a satin button, the other had bb button), and 4 made with bead blast blades (3 serrated, 1 plain edge) and bb clips. The handles are a dark grey, and had cord cutter scales. The handles are engraved with the Dalton War Bird on both sides. The blade is engraved “Dalton".

The 4th variant was limited to 8 pieces. It was released the first week of September. Known as the “Warhorse Choppers" Edge, it was a tribute to Mr. Dalton’s other business. This model was engraved with a likeness of the first Custom Chopper Rob built on the button side, and the words “Warhorse Choppers" (Rob’s motorcycle shop) on the clip side. All of these had satin blades engraved with “Dalton", and satin clips. The Handles were also dark grey and had the EMS cord cutter notches.

The 5th variant was the “Live it" Edge. Released the second week of September, was a limited run of 6 pieces. All had satin blades and clips (both serrated and plain edges). These had Dark Grey anodized handles without cord cutter notches. These were engraved with the likeness of a Rob’s Chopper, and the words “Live it" on both sides of the handle. The blades were engraved with “Dalton".

The 6th variant was the Edge “Lightning". Announced on the 5th of September, it was a run of 30 pieces. All were produced with satin blades, clips, and buttons. The blades also had lightening cut outs, and the Maltese “D" logo engraved into it. The handles were anodized in a light Ti grey, and did not have the EMS notches as earlier variants did.

The 7th variant was labeled the “Hells Edge", released the third week of September with a total of 6 pieces produced. There was 1 with a satin blade and clip, and 5 with bb blades and clips. These blades had the lightening cutouts and the Maltese D engraved. The handles were a light Ti grey anodize and were heavily engraved with flames, The devil chick, and the words “Hells Edge��? on both sides.

There was a “1 of" piece produced near the end of the production run. It has a satin plain edge blade, with the Dalton engraving. It has dark grey anodized handles with the cord cutter scales. It is engraved “U.S. Navy" on both sides.

There was also another "1 of" made having black handles. No other details are available on this one.
