The skeletal handled AFO appears to be a later version of the AFO, likely made towards the end of the 1992-1995 AFO production run. The only pieces I have handled had the later etched logo rather than the earlier stamped logo. My best guess is that these were a very small production run, as they are seldom seen. I am not aware of any variations, as the ones I have seen were identical with black handles and drop point blades. However, it would indeed be unusual if there were none out there with other blade configurations. These pieces incorporate the same type pivot screw and Allen set screw (for vertical blade play adjustment) as the regular AFO. The size is slightly different than the standard model.
