The Serpents were released in April 1999 and were made up until the Warhawks were released in June of 1999. This was the Dalton shop’s first large run of Kris bladed knives. We know that at least one Kris bladed large AFO was made in the early 90’s. All of the Serpents had black anodized aluminum handles. There were no serial numbers or other handle engravings. I have only seen this model with beadblasted blades, though there could be some 2-tone or satin bladed variants out there. The majority of the Serpents had a swedge ground in the blades.

The blades without the swedge are considerably less common. I understand that the swedgeless pieces were a special order from dealer Billy Cox. The Serpents with serrated blades also seem to be less common. I believe all the serrated ones I've seen were swedgeless. Billy liked serrated blades.

These knives were fitted with a standard narrow pocket clip and the blades were etched with the Dalton logo.

Looks like this will work. I'll just have to use pics from the Gallery instead of the newer hi res multiknife pics that I have.
