What's everyone want?

I don't know if I'm the only one, but the activity seems really down for the amount of members. I'm curious, what does everyone like the most about the forum? With a lot of new knives coming out, I'm surprised there isn't more people talking shop. I think Rob has come out with some cool knives, I like the bone inserts he did, but I think I would rather buy some of the rarer older pieces. Dan had a Giant SOF that is probably the coolest knife he ever did for about $600 - you could have that or two new knives....and $100. Give me the Giant and I will wait for the "two" new knives to get dumped (not to sound negative, but there is always a guy who paid 200 and will take 130 quick). At any rate, although I'm not buying any new Daltons, I enjoy trying to find older stuff at reasonable prices. I guess I figured I needed to continue buying, but concentrating on the earlier D's.....it's fun, they seldom come around...so it's cheaper..haha.

I think it gets slow around this time of year because most of us are outside fishing, gardening, or out for a scooter ride. It only gets worse as the weather gets better.USA

I keep telling myself I need to take it easy, but I've bought at least one of every model lately. Bone inserts, mirror polished blades, lefties, I mean how can you pass on stuff like that? I've even picked up some knives on the second hand market that weren't must haves, but couldn't pass for the price. skull2 ILK

I agree with the weather getting nice, although a lot of rain lately in Indiana, people will spend more time with activities outdoors. I kind of treat the forum like my email, I spend a few minutes checking it whenever I get a chance, I don't spend hours on it.

Yes, my first mirror polished Dalton. I'm up to seven Dalton lefties now. I need to get off my dead ass and post a pick. :) ILK
