The Experimental Packer was announced on November 6, 2004. It is a linerlock/liner release knife. The blades are marked "EXP PACKER". There are two handle color schemes: (1) black and (2) silver with black specks. There were only 95 pieces made – 31 with black handles and 64 with the silver/black handles.

Dimensions:

OAL: 10 – 3/16"
Blade Length: 4 – 3/8"
Blade Thickness: 0.125"
Max Handle Thickness (not including the clip or pivot): 0.613"

Note that even though there were only 95 pieces made, serial numbers ranged from 001 to 103. Several handle sets did not pass QA inspection and were scrapped. Here's a close-up picture of the release/lock. You push to the left on the tab to release and unlock the knife. The tab pushes against the spring loaded linerlock via the transfer bar. As far as I know, this is a unique mechanism. I know I've never seen anything like it before. It works very smoothly. The tab is easy to operate, but is located so that it would not likely accidentally release in your pocket.
