Ok guys, I'm stuck
I have here a little auto that has no maker markings anywhere on the knife. It looks a little to me like a Dalton which is why I'm showing it here. Yes, I know that people DO make dalton knockoffs but this one, if it is not a dalton, is made very well. The handle feels like aluminum and the blade has a real good bead blast and the lock up is very good. Could be junk for all I know...
Thanks

Interesting. Very Dalton-esque. Where did you find that one?

I do not remember it's origin. Only that I was told it was a Dalton but with no markings, it's hard to prove. I looked through the Dalton picture gallery and two or three knives looked like this one but alot different, If that makes sense... the lines in the handle, the blade grind, the quality of the BB finish, the pivot pin head... alll scream Dalton. it's a mystery I tells ya!
Was I right about it looking like a Dalton?

Charlotte said it wasn't one of theirs.
Some of the design elements are certainly "Daltonesque".

How deep does your safe go? Seems like your always pulling something new from it. I searched the net a bit, not a whole lot of info out there on sterile auto knives. Small companies come and go with little info left behind. The blade steel does look like pretty good quality. Good luck in your quest. violent2 ILK

I've seen one of those. I believe I was with Ringo in KY or an Ohio show. IIRC, he thought it was one of those autos made by that German company that had some interesting Daltonesque CA specials and perhaps SEALS?

This has been confirmed as a non dalton but, it is still a quality knife. It definitely has a blade finish comparable to early dalton bead/sand blasting... kinda rough. I'd like to know exactly what it is.. these kind of things bug me.
Thanks to all for the input!

Absolutely right! Good eye! I have six of his knives. a couple have MY name on them instead of his.

I wonder if Boker manufactured any knives without markings...
