Hey guys what's the story with these? I heard serious Dalton colectors aren't very into the brass and copper stuff.. I got two Lost Souls on the way as part of a larger trade, and I really like how crazy they look. Am I in the minority?

Tyler -- I may not be considered a serios Daltonista, but his bass and copper models ( Maze,Lost Souls,Intrrogator,Comcats,Halloween Drifter,Brass Assassin, H.D.Street Fighters) are among my favorites (second only to Ti). The only complaints I ever hear is too much G10.People also seem cool with CRES and T6.Dave.

I like the brass knives. They require a bit more maintenance than Ti, T6 and G10.

Interesting, thanks. Will post pics when they arrive. Got my first G10, a Guardian II, (thanks John) and I like the way it feels better than aluminum. Is it a less sturdy material? Thanks for putting up w/ the newb questions..

I don't have a problem with any of them, but I would have like the G10 knives better had they had steel liners but thats just me. I agree with Mark that the brass and copper ones do take much more maintainence, but they are unique and stand out in a collection. I think the run of G10 knives lasted a bit longer than some liked and many folks longed for the "old days" of T6 handles.

The brass/copper Maze and Lost Souls are what I would consider dress knives, much too pretty for EDC and like Mark said they do require more maintenance than the other scale materials. Here's one Mr. D made for me using my avatar as the pattern for the maze. The insert is a piece of ivory I picked up at Blade Show one year.
