The pocket Militia was first announced on 03 April 2004 and started delivering around 13 April. The Pocket Militia (official name) is also often called the Mini Militia. It is a smaller version of the original Militia and the more recent Militia Recon II. The Dalton shop made 36 Protos without pocket clips and the remaining pieces had the new style pocket clip with button head screws.

Blade Length: 2.466"
Handle Thickness: 0.486" (not including the pocket clip)
Handle Width: 0.83" maximum
Blade Thickness: 0.126"
On 10 May the Dalton shop announced that the last 100 Pocket Militias would have colored blades. They had the same OD handles as the earlier ones, but 50 pieces had black blades and 50 pieces had OD blades. These were the first OD bladed Daltons released to the public. These variants started delivering around 24 May.
