The name "BoatTail G10" is likely to be a name made up by a dealer at some point based on the handle material (G10 fiberglass) and the shape of the rear bolster. If this model had a name assigned by the Daltons, we are not aware of it. Very little is known about this model, other than it is obviously pre-98. Based on the construction techniques, an estimate of the production date would be late 1996 to late 1997. The two variants pictured below are the only variants we have seen, though there could easily be other variants out there, such as green G10 handles. The tanto blades are chisel ground, as are most Dalton tanto blades and there are no pocket clips or serial numbers. There is no "USA" engraved into the handles, as was common with G10 pieces of this period, but they do have the etched Dalton logo.

If anyone has any additional information on this model, we would love to hear about it!
