I noticed my black aluminum....also has an enclosed back...with a serial number of 1233. Here is a picture next to my G-10 Angel.

Here's the Guardian Angel I got from Moficky a few weeks ago. His picture from the sell listing. I'm fairly sure that it is the one pictured in the post as Mrs Dalton's dress knife.
Cool piece with an interesting history.

It looks like your serial # is 970284 and Charlotte's is 970254.
The Dalton logo also looks darker on Charlotte's.
With that said, two things:
1. I could be wrong, Charlotte's pic is rough.
2. Either way a Ti GA is a rare piece and very cooool.

I had a hard time reading those last 2 numbers on the dotw titanium guardian angel. It gets blurry when I try to enlarge it.
On a more important note, I wish you well Moficky! Keep your spirits up! You are one of the best knife guys I've met on the forums! Passion, fun, cool lanyards and sweet Dalton collection.

I looked at that when Dave posted it. Its hard to say for sure due to the fuzziness of Charlotte's scan (back then she used a scanner for knife photos), but I think that's Charlotte's knife. One of the nicest pieces I've seen sold on the forum.

Forgot to add a picture of a few of my GA's. I've got one of the known "Enigma" Guardian Angels. The regular red Guardian Angel was my very first Dalton.

I got the titanium guardian angel from Moficky not the G10 handle. Just wanted to clarify that.

I may have noticed in passing once, but looking at this thread it really struck me: The CA Special is a mini GA.
Both came out in '97. Guessing the GA was first(?)

Now that you mentioned it, It sure does look like the same geometry with the pivot, button and screw being in the same position on both knives.MITUSA
Should I do another experimental blade swap??? laugh3
